Sam Hill grew up in Waycross, Georgia and now lives with his wife of twenty five years, their cat Nick and dog Rosie just outside Chicago. He has two adult children, a daughter who lives in Washington, DC, and a son who attends the University of Redlands in California. Sam has authored several non-fiction books, and his work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the LA Times, the Financial Times, and the Harvard Business Review. Most of his early career was spent as an executive, notably as a partner in the consulting firm Booz-Allen & Hamilton and vice-chairman of one of the world's largest ad agencies. Along the way, he has also built schools in Peace Corps, been a crew boss in the Louisiana oilfields and lived in Athens, Atlanta, New York, Sydney and Mexico City. |
